Ashwagandha Extract

Alpha01 Ashwagandha Extract 10,000mg is Indian ashwagandha, Withania somnifera, in one vegan capsule a day. Each capsule holds 500mg of a 20:1 extract, equivalent to 10,000mg of ashwagandha, standardised to 5% withanolides to give 25mg, with 2.5mg of BioPerine® black pepper extract.

The 20:1 ratio means twenty parts of ashwagandha are concentrated into one part of extract, and the withanolides are the figure to compare between products: 25mg in every capsule, printed on the front and on the panel. The ingredients list shows just four items: the extract, a hypromellose capsule shell, organic brown rice flour and BioPerine®.
