8 Mushroom Complex

Alpha01 8 Mushroom Complex brings eight mushroom extracts together in one vegan capsule, for anyone comparing mushroom complex capsules by what is printed on the label. Each 2-capsule serving provides the botanical equivalent of 18,750mg of mushrooms: 4,500mg cordyceps sinensis (from a 30:1 extract); 2,250mg each of button mushroom, chaga, lion’s mane, oyster mushroom and shiitake (from 15:1 extracts); and 1,500mg each of maitake and reishi (from 10:1 extracts). Between them the eight provide 405mg of total polysaccharides, of which 210mg are beta-glucans, and every figure sits in the label’s nutritional table. The pouch holds 90 vegan capsules, made with a hypromellose shell and organic brown rice flour. One honesty note from the caution panel: this product is not intended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and anyone with a medical condition or taking medication should consult a doctor before use.

Shiitake, oyster, maitake and button mushrooms are familiar from the kitchen, while reishi, chaga, cordyceps and lion’s mane are forest and highland fungi more often met as teas and extracts than on a plate. Mushrooms are botanicals with no authorised health claims and no NRV established in the UK, so this page sticks to the facts printed on the label: the eight extracts, their botanical equivalent and their polysaccharide and beta-glucan content. Suggested use is 2 capsules daily with water, making the 90-capsule pouch a 45-day supply (90 divided by 2).
