Org. Lutein & Zeaxanthin

Alpha01 Organic Lutein and Zeaxanthin is certified organic marigold, Tagetes erecta, in vegan capsules. A two-capsule serving gives 1,000mg of organic marigold flower extract, providing 50mg of lutein and 3mg of zeaxanthin, and the pouch carries the EU organic leaf with the code SK-BIO-003. The ingredients list holds three things only: the organic marigold extract, a hypromellose capsule shell and organic brown rice flour.

The extract is standardised to 5% lutein and 0.3% zeaxanthin, so a full gram of it gives 50mg of lutein, which is why the serving is two capsules rather than one. There is no black pepper extract in these capsules, and the panel shows no %NRV because no reference value exists for either pigment.
